Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust awards $100,000 to local nonprofit Save the Family
Phoenix, AZ. – August 18th, 2010
In a ceremony today, Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust awarded Mesa-based nonprofit, Save the Family, a $100,000 grant. With the current economy and increased need the Trust decided to forgo their usual two-stage application process to approve proposals for expedited funding. The funding will support Save the Family’s transitional living program which provides housing and supportive services to families conquering homelessness.

We consider them significant partners in our mission to empower families to conquer homelessness,” says Jacki Taylor, CEO, Save the Family.
Save the Family (www.savethefamily.org) is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families to conquer homelessness and achieve life-long independence. Save the Family operates more than 175 transitional and low-income housing units and provides supportive services such as career development, domestic violence and parenting classes.
